Stop Asking Yourself “Can You Cure A Phobia?”, The Answer Is Yes!
At long last, you’ve decided to change yourself for the better. A phobia can be a scary thing to face. Never let it become too overwhelming to you. All of us want to be released from the fear that holds us down regardless of what it may be. So you ask yourself, can you cure a phobia? Be patient with yourself, you have to start somewhere.
All of us suffer from one phobia or another, some more than others– most don’t even realize they have them. Although all we can do is try not to give in to it. We’re better than that. We all are.
We sometimes refuse to face them, allowing it to upset us and those around us, even damaging our mental health by letting it continue to live inside of us. When all along, all we had to do was accept the problem and play the same game it tries to make us participate in. Once we realize that we’re the winners and they lost before they began, we can conquer anything that it throws our way.
You can start off by making a detailed list of what your phobia’s may be. Once you’ve finished, break the list down into steps and go from there. Below is an example of how your list should be.
1: I’ve noticed it’s been there a while, but for how long?
2: Why is it there and did something in my life trigger it?
3: Could it possibly be hurting the people in my life and myself?
4: Why you’d want to cure the phobia.
5: Can my phobia be causing bodily harm to anyone including myself?
Answering these questions the best you can by how you believe it’s affecting you, and start a plan to exorcise each step accordingly. Once you can pinpoint your reasons behind the phobia, you’ll finally be able to reach where you need to be.
Fear destroys us from the inside, it can even control the outcome of our lives. It’s hard to notice at first, and sometimes we let it take over. Don’t allow this to happen anymore, the sooner you release that inner fear the phobia leaves, you’ll feel better about your mind and body. No one wants to be a slave to fear, don’t let it keep you locked up.
Each time you have to face your fears, don’t hesitate. It’s only a temporary set back, take a deep breath and accept anything that comes your way, remind yourself that nothing can stop you! Not even your phobia’s!
Be strong. I’ve been cured of many phobia’s, and so can you. With a little time, effort, and acceptance. You will finally be free of all that binds you.
